Thank you for getting together with the NVN!
Thank you to everyone who came along to our get together on the 17th of January. We hope you all had an interesting and sociable time with us. It showed us how valuable it is for people with the same passions and goals to get to know each other and be able draw on each other, to help in our work for nature. Thanks especially to Chris Walker who gave up his free time to tell us about his work and plans for the future and to Mayor Andy Bullen for giving us a priority amongst all his other commitments.
Our steering group has met since the 17th and we have gone through your tips and suggestions;
thank you for your hard work. We have taken on board many of your good suggestions; we have
started reaching out to parish councils, education and wildlife groups; we are planning to host
talks and thanks to Debbie and Jackie have a fund raising quiz at the end of March. Julia is going
to explore other sources of grants. We have many ideas bubbling away as a result of your
company and generous sharing of ideas.
